EMWA & CRUZ ROSA
During the month of May 2017, a gala dinner was held to benefit the Cruz Rosa Monterrey in the Campestre Club. This great event was sponsored by EMWA in conjunction with the Bulgari fine watch and jewelery brand.
These scholarships will serve as an integral support for patients with cancer, where lodging for the patient and a family member is facilitated during 6 weeks, as well as psychological, medical and nutritional attention, among others. During the month of May, a gala dinner was held to benefit the Cruz Rosa Monterrey in the Campestre Club. This great event was sponsored by EMWA in conjunction with the Bulgari fine watch and jewelery brand.
In the event there was the exhibition of sublime works of art, which were auctioned to raise funds for the association. In addition, the EMWA BVLGARI Scholarship was awarded, which managed to raise more than $ 330,000 pesos to benefit the Cruz Rosa Monterrey.
Therefore I got the opportunity to work with BMW in order to give them a special artwork inspired by the brand and the i8 hybrid car.

Growing up in Monterrey, Mexico, Mayka Estefany Cantu Casanova aka Mayka Can2ienova loved to draw. The multidisciplinary artist went on to study industrial design and art theory in Manchester, Paris, Amsterdam and Osaka. A fan of vector graphics, she creates fragmented portraits and otherworldly images in pencil and paint but adds the finishing touches digitally.
